Email notifications are sent when triggered by certain features or possible updates from Really Simple Security. This is what you need to know:
- The email is sent to your email (the email address under Security -> Settings -> General, or if empty, the Administration Email Address in the WordPress General Settings)
- The email will trigger automatically when needed, also in the event that another Administrator enables or disables an essential feature in the plugin.
- Some emails are sent without previous action by an administrator.
- You can disable the Email Notifications feature under Security -> Settings -> General, if needed.
If you are certain the email content is incorrect, and nobody else has access to the the specific feature mentioned in the email; please ask support to have a look. We kindly ask you to do the same if the emails are not displayed correctly or if information is missing.
