Access violation vulnerability in The Ultimate WordPress Toolkit – WP Extended 3.0.11

The WP Extended plugin for WordPress, known as The Ultimate WordPress Toolkit, has a security vulnerability in version 3.0.11. This is because there is no check in place to make sure users have the proper permissions when using the ‘wpext_handle_snippet_update’ function. This means that if an attacker has at least Subscriber-level access and an admin has created a code snippet, they can potentially run code on the server.
