The Easy Social Icons plugin for WordPress had a security issue before version 1.2.3 that allowed attackers to take control of an administrator’s account. This allowed them to conduct a cross-site scripting attack using the image_file parameter in an edit action on the cnss_social_icon_add page in the wp-admin/admin.php file.
