The Import XML and RSS Feeds for WordPress plugin was found to have a security vulnerability in versions up to and including 2.1.4. This means that someone with malicious intent could access a certain file (169227090864de013cac47b.php) and gain control over the plugin, potentially leading to a compromise of the website. The vulnerability was caused by the plugin vendor leaving a malicious file behind when patching another security issue (CVE-2023-4300).
