The HT Easy GA4 plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that affects all versions up to 1.0.6. Attackers who can get a site administrator to click on a link can take advantage of this vulnerability. It happens because the plugin does not check to make sure the link is from a trusted source before it allows it to activate a plugin.
