Input validation vulnerability in Image Source Control Lite – Show Image Credits and Captions 2.29.0

The plugin called Image Source Control for WordPress has a problem that makes it vulnerable to a type of hacking called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This can happen in versions up to 2.29.0 because the plugin does not properly protect against harmful code being added to web pages. This means that attackers who are not logged in can add their own code to a page and make it do something bad, as long as they can trick a user into clicking on a link.
