Input validation vulnerability in Rescue Shortcodes 3.1

The Rescue Shortcodes plugin for WordPress has a weakness that allows malicious code to be injected into web pages. This can happen in versions 3.1 and below because the plugin does not properly clean and protect the information that is entered. This means that attackers who have contributor-level access or higher can add harmful code to pages that will run whenever someone views that page.
