The Footer Putter plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into WordPress pages. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to version 6.1.3. It occurs because the plugin does not properly sanitize user inputs or escape outputs, making it vulnerable to attacks. If a user is tricked into clicking on a link, the malicious web scripts can execute.
