Input validation vulnerability in WordPress Simple Shopping Cart 5.1.2

The WordPress Simple Shopping Cart plugin is not secure and can be manipulated to change product prices. This flaw affects all versions up to 5.1.2. The problem is caused by a mistake in how the plugin uses certain information when adding items to the cart. An attacker can take advantage of this mistake to trick the system into thinking a more expensive product is actually a cheaper one, allowing them to avoid paying for the expensive item.
