Input validation vulnerability in Category Widget 2.0.2

The Category Widget plugin for WordPress is not secure in versions up to 2.0.2. This is because it does not properly clean up the input and output data, which leaves it vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This means that someone could potentially put harmful code onto a webpage and trick a user into clicking on it.
