Input validation vulnerability in SpiderVPlayer 1.5.22

The Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This vulnerability exists in versions of the plugin up to and including version 1.5.22. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious web scripts into pages that will be executed if a user is tricked into clicking a link or taking some other action. This vulnerability is caused by the plugin’s failure to properly sanitize user input and escape output.
