Input validation vulnerability in WordPress NextGen GalleryView 0.5.5

The NextGen GalleryView plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue known as Cross-Site Request Forgery. This issue affects versions up to and including 0.5.5 of the plugin. This vulnerability occurs when the plugin is missing or incorrectly validating a security measure called a nonce, which allows unauthenticated attackers to trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link, by sending a forged request.
