Input validation vulnerability in Carousel Ultimate 1.8

The Carousel Ultimate plugin for WordPress has a security issue that makes it vulnerable to a type of attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This problem exists in versions 1.8 and below because the plugin does not properly clean up user input and protect against malicious code. This means that attackers who are logged in to the website with contributor-level access or higher can add harmful scripts to pages. These scripts will run whenever a user visits the affected page.
