Input validation vulnerability in Footer Text 2.0.3

The Footer Text plugin for WordPress has a security issue in versions up to 2.0.3. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to change the plugin’s settings and insert malicious web scripts. They can do this by tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link. The problem is due to the fact that the render_footer_text_options_page() function does not have the proper security measures in place.
