Input validation vulnerability in MF Gig Calendar 1.2.1

The MF Gig Calendar plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that affects all versions up to and including 1.2.1. This means that people with contributor access and higher can use this vulnerability to access information stored in the database. The vulnerability is caused by a user-supplied parameter not being escaped properly and an existing SQL query not being properly prepared.
