Input validation vulnerability in Custom Dashboard Widget 1.0.0

The Custom Dashboard Widget plugin for WordPress has a security issue called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This can happen in versions 1.0.0 and below because the plugin does not properly clean up user input and output. This means that someone who is not logged in could potentially add their own harmful code to a page. They can do this if they can get a user to do something like click on a link.
