Input validation vulnerability in WP SoundSystem 3.4.2

A plugin called WP SoundSystem used in WordPress has a security issue called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This happens when the plugin’s wpsstm-track shortcode is used. It affects all versions up to 3.4.2 and is caused by not properly checking the information provided by users and not properly protecting the output. This means that someone with contributor-level access or higher can add harmful website code to a page, which will then run whenever someone opens that page.
