The MWB HubSpot for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress has a security issue that could allow unauthorized changes to be made to data. This could lead to someone gaining higher privileges than they should have. The issue is caused by a missing security check in the hubwoo_save_updates() function, which affects all versions up to and including 1.5.9. This means that someone with at least Contributor-level access could change important settings on the website, such as making themselves an administrator and allowing others to register as users, giving them full control.
