Input validation vulnerability in Advanced Views – Display Posts, Custom Fields, and More 3.7.19

A popular plugin for WordPress called “Advanced Views – Display Posts, Custom Fields, and More” has a security issue that affects all versions up to 3.7.19. This is because the plugin does not properly clean the input and does not have enough restrictions when using custom Twig templates in the Model panel. As a result, attackers who are logged in and have certain permissions can run their own PHP code and commands on the server.
