Input validation vulnerability in Folder Gallery 1.7.4

The Folder Gallery plugin for WordPress has a security issue where malicious code can be injected through the ‘foldergallery’ shortcode. This can happen in all versions up to 1.7.4 because the plugin does not properly clean and protect user-entered information. This means that attackers who have contributor-level access or higher can insert harmful scripts into pages that will run whenever someone views the page.
