The ShortCodes UI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery. This type of attack can be used by unauthenticated attackers to trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The plugin version 1.9.8 and earlier are vulnerable because they do not use a special protection called nonce validation.
