Input validation vulnerability in WP Sitemap 1.0.0

The WP Sitemap plugin for WordPress has a security issue that can allow attackers to inject harmful web scripts into pages. This can happen because the plugin does not properly clean up the input and output of its content. This vulnerability affects versions 1.0.0 and below. Attackers who have at least contributor-level access can exploit this and make the scripts run whenever someone visits the affected pages.
