Access violation vulnerability in Relevanssi – A Better Search (Pro) 2.25.1

The Relevanssi – A Better Search plugin for WordPress has a security issue that could allow unauthorized changes to be made to the data. This is because the plugin does not have a check in place to ensure that only authorized users can update the relevanssi_update_counts() function. As a result, attackers without proper authentication could potentially run expensive queries on the application, causing it to crash or become unresponsive.
