The Currency Converter Widget PRO plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows malicious code to be injected into web pages. This can happen when someone with contributor-level access or higher uses the plugin’s shortcode called ‘currency-converter-widget-pro’. It affects all versions of the plugin, up to and including version 1.0.6, because it doesn’t properly clean and protect user-supplied information. The injected code can run whenever someone visits the affected page.
