Input validation vulnerability in Popup Builder by OptinMonster – WordPress Popups for Optins, Email Newsletters and Lead Generation 2.15.3

The OptinMonster plugin for WordPress has a security issue called Cross-Site Request Forgery. This can affect all versions up to 2.15.3. The problem is that the plugin does not properly check for a unique code when dismissing certain notifications. This means that attackers who are not logged into the website can trick the website’s administrator into taking an action, like clicking on a link, that will allow them to dismiss important notices.
