Input validation vulnerability in LayerSlider 7.7.9

The LayerSlider plugin for WordPress is a program that can be installed on websites that are built using WordPress. However, there is a security issue with versions up to, and including, 7.7.9 which makes it vulnerable to something called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This is a type of attack where malicious scripts can be injected into webpages, which will then execute whenever a user accesses the injected page. In order for this attack to be successful, the attacker must have access to the website with at least contributor-level privileges.
