The Product Category Tree plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 2.5 of the plugin. The vulnerability exists because the plugin does not have the right protection in place to prevent malicious users from sending a fake request and tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link, for example.
