Access violation vulnerability in Custom Contact Forms 5.1.0.4

The Custom Contact Forms plugin for WordPress had a vulnerability that allowed unauthenticated attackers to access and modify the database of the website. This vulnerability was due to a missing capability check on a particular function, and it affected all versions of WordPress before 5.1.0.4. Thankfully, this vulnerability has been patched in later versions.
