Input validation vulnerability in BuddyPress 12.5.0

The BuddyPress add-on for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to inject harmful code into web pages. This can be done by taking advantage of a flaw in the way the plugin handles user input. As a result, anyone with certain levels of access can insert malicious scripts into pages, which will run whenever someone visits the compromised page.
