Output validation vulnerability in Appointments 2.2.2

The Appointments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called PHP Object Injection in versions up to and including 2.2.1. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability by using the `wpmudev_appointments` cookie to put malicious code into the plugin. This allowed them to create backdoors without needing to authenticate.
