The WooCommerce Cloak Affiliate Links plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized changes to be made to the data. This happens because the ‘permalink_settings_save’ function does not have a proper check in place. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.0.33. As a result, it is possible for attackers without proper authentication to change the affiliate permalink base. This can lead to redirecting users to harmful websites through the plugin’s affiliate links.
