The CatFolders plugin for WordPress, which helps organize media files by category, has a security vulnerability that allows hackers to access sensitive information from the database. This vulnerability is present in all versions up to 2.5.2 and is caused by a lack of proper coding to protect against SQL injection attacks. This means that attackers with Author-level access or higher can add malicious code to existing queries and potentially access private data.
