The CodeBard’s Patron Button and Widgets for Patreon plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery. This vulnerability affects versions of the plugin up to and including version 2.1.9. It is caused by a missing or incorrect nonce validation on one of its functions, which allows unauthenticated attackers to trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking a link, through a forged request.
