Input validation vulnerability in Custom Content Type Manager 0.9.8.8

The Custom Content Type Manager plugin for WordPress had a security vulnerability in versions 0.9.8.7 to 0.9.8.8 that allowed attackers to gain access to the server and install malicious PHP files through an added auto-update.php file. This gave the attackers the ability to run code on the server.
