The plugin called “Category and Taxonomy Meta Fields” for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows hackers to inject harmful code through the image meta field. This can only happen on websites with multiple pages or if the “unfiltered_html” setting is turned off. This can be exploited by attackers with certain permissions, and it can cause the injected code to run whenever someone visits the affected page.
