Input validation vulnerability in BuddyPress 6.4.0

The BuddyPress plugin for WordPress has a security issue that could allow malicious users to execute Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This issue affects versions of BuddyPress up to and including 6.3.0, and is caused by improper authorization checks and sanitization when editing a user’s profile page. If a malicious user is logged in, they can add style attributes to “span” and “p” elements when using the rich text fields, which can lead to Cross-Site Scripting.
