A plugin called “Hero Mega Menu” for WordPress has a security issue called SQL Injection, which affects versions 1.16.5 and below. This issue arises because the plugin does not properly handle the information provided by users, and does not adequately prepare the existing SQL query. As a result, hackers with subscriber-level access or higher can add their own SQL queries to the existing ones, potentially accessing sensitive data from the database.
