Access violation vulnerability in ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Memberships, Groups and Communities 5.7.9

The ProfileGrid plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to view other people’s messages. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 5.7.9. It is caused by a lack of validation on a specific key in the pg_show_msg_panel() function, which can be controlled by the user. This means that even users with subscriber-level access can potentially access and read messages from other users.
