Input validation vulnerability in post-views 2.6.1.2

The Post Views plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Scripting. This means that in versions of the plugin up to, and including, 2.6.1.2, malicious code can be inserted into the plugin which can be used to execute unauthorised commands in a victim’s browser. This is due to the plugin not properly checking the inputs and not properly protecting itself from malicious code.
