Input validation vulnerability in Portfolio – WordPress Portfolio Plugin 2.8.8

The Portfolio – WordPress Portfolio Plugin plugin is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to 2.8.8. This is because the plugin does not properly validate nonce on the rtport_spare_me function, which means that unauthenticated attackers can dismiss plugin notifications by tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link.
