Input validation vulnerability in Simple File List 4.2.3

The Simple-File-List Plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue that could let unauthenticated attackers take control of the server. This vulnerability is present in versions of the plugin up to 4.2.2. It occurs when attackers can use the rename function to change a file that has been uploaded with a .png extension to a file with a .php extension. This would allow the attackers to execute code on the server.
