The Property Hive Stamp Duty Calculator plugin for WordPress has a security issue called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This happens when the plugin’s ‘stamp_duty_calculator_scotland’ shortcode is used. The plugin’s versions 1.0.22 and lower are affected because they do not properly clean up user input and output. This means that people with contributor-level access or higher can add harmful web scripts to pages, which will run whenever someone opens the affected page.
