Input validation vulnerability in WordPress Survey & Poll – Quiz, Survey and Poll Plugin for WordPress 1.7.5

A popular plugin for WordPress, called the WordPress Survey & Poll – Quiz, Survey and Poll Plugin, has a security flaw that makes it vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called SQL Injection. This vulnerability is present in all versions of the plugin, up to and including version 1.7.5. The issue is caused by a lack of proper protection on a user-inputted parameter, which allows attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to add their own malicious code to the existing database queries. This can result in the exposure of sensitive information stored in the database.
