Input validation vulnerability in SimpleDark 1.2.11

The SimpleDark Theme for WordPress is not secure in versions up to 1.2.11. Attackers can use a method called Cross-Site Scripting to inject malicious web scripts into a victim’s browser. This is possible because the theme does not properly check what is being sent to it and does not correctly process the data before it is sent back to the user.
