Access violation vulnerability in Simple Downloads List 1.4.3

The Simple Downloads List plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized changes to be made to its data. This is because the plugin does not check for proper authorization when using the ‘wp_ajax_neofix_sdl_edit’ feature. This vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin, up to and including version 1.4.3. As a result, attackers who have at least Subscriber-level access can manipulate the plugin’s settings and downloads, potentially inserting harmful web scripts.
