Input validation vulnerability in Slideshow Gallery LITE 1.5.3.4

The Slideshow Gallery plugin for WordPress has a security issue which affects versions up to and including 1.5.3.2. This issue makes it possible for malicious actors to inject malicious code into the website if they can trick a user into clicking a link. This is possible because the plugin does not properly check and filter the input it receives nor does it properly prevent malicious code from being executed when it is output onto the website.
