Input validation vulnerability in WaveSurfer-WP 2.8.3

The WaveSurfer-WP plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows hackers to inject harmful code into web pages. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 2.8.3. It is possible for attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to insert malicious scripts that will run whenever a user visits a page containing the injected code.
