The Advanced Editor Tools plugin has introduced a "Classic Paragraph" block for WordPress' block editor, allowing users to continue using the familiar TinyMCE editor for most tasks while still having access to all blocks and new features in the block editor. The latest version of the plugin, 5.5, includes an improved "Clear Formatting" button, advanced settings for tables, and the ability to import and export settings to a file. The plugin also allows users to add, remove, and arrange buttons on the Visual Editor toolbar and includes 15 plugins for TinyMCE.
