Input validation vulnerability in Seriously Simple Stats 1.5.0

The Seriously Simple Stats plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a form of attack called SQL Injection in versions up to and including 1.5.0. This type of attack could allow an attacker, who has access to certain areas of the website, to steal sensitive information from the website’s database. The vulnerability is caused by the plugin not properly shielding user-supplied parameters and not properly preparing existing SQL queries.
