Input validation vulnerability in Mapster WP Maps 1.2.38

The Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress is not fully protected against a type of cyber attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This vulnerability exists in versions 1.2.38 and earlier because the plugin does not properly clean up the information it receives and sends out. This means that someone with certain levels of access to the plugin can insert harmful code into web pages. When a user opens one of these affected pages, the code will run and could cause harm.
